Ops, I am wondering now. I just quickly skimmed through your
message the fist time. Actually, "trupa" should be feminine and
the singular of "trupi" (?). But you do have a diminutive "trupche",
which can be a derivative of both. I am not sure about the sg. of
trupi... and have no Bulgarian dictionary here. "Trupa" is indeed
also the dual of "trup". Did you use a dictionary for reference? I
am baffled.
