Alb. bjeshkë is regulary derived from Beskides, due to *e > je and sc-

> shk-. About paSiSte, I think that it's deverbative noun of

paSiti 'to graze, to pasture' (cf. igrati 'to play' and
igraliSte 'stadium') and I guess it is Latin loan through Dalmatian.
It is also present in Albanian pashtrak 'tax on pasture'.
