be desired, to put it mildly, but I see no reason to doubt
the compiler's statement that according to _Magyar értelmezô
kéziszótár_ (which he translates 'Hungarian Explanatory
Concise Dictionary') the word is of unknown origin. (I
assume that <ô> is <o"> as opposed to <ö>.) Then again, I
have no idea how up-to-date the information is.
