mmm, wasn't here a discussion which such syllabic alternation which was
called by you "shibolleth"?
I remembered about the alternance /vi/ or /bi/ with /g'i/ and of /pi/
with /ki/
The most "extreme" to say so is the alternation of "vi" with "zi" with
the intermediate form "g'i" ( vi=g'i=zi)
