It doesn't, not for the relevant stage I was talking about.

The strong cases (*pods, *podm, later *po:ds, *podm.) were
monosyllabic, the weak cases (*pedés, *pedéi etc., later *péds, *pédi)
were bisyllabic. All were accented on the last syllable.

Piotr, tell him how many syllables your first name has (in the
nominative).
