So, there are two posiblities:

I think that You are right about palatalised forms: entering in
proto-Albanian and proto-Romanian at a time when /lj/ became
palatalised and that this word reentered again in the Romanian after
the palatalization of /lj/ stopped. Such examples of Latin and Neo-
Latin loans in Albanian are too much (cf. only Lat. loan
Kërshëndella and from Neo-Latin Krishtlindje, both from < Christi
Natale.
