Paul Manansala has proposed some form of connection between
Austronesian (or Austric?) on the one hand and Sanskrit and Sumerian
on the other. I have extended the lists he published of possible
cognates with glosses from AfroAsiatic and IE, and believe that they
are loans from Austronesian (or rather Malayo-Polynesian) to the to
latter language families.
