Those are mere... "cognates". You don't bother to
ask yourself: "How about their meaning in the ancient
language and in Romanian?" and "What do I know of those
Romanian localities? When were they founded, in which
circumstances, by whom?"

Of course, there is: every topo-/anthroponym such as
Coman, Comanici (-> Nadia Comaneci!), Comanescu,
Comana, Comanesti etc. evokes the ethnonym of that
Turkic branch.

the Cumans, even on the Net.

By using this word, I understand that the Mongols
put an end to the Cuman's own khanate (Desht-i-KIptchaq).
Besides, in my previous post, I went on saying that
a part of the Cumans went back to the eastern steppes
where they "melted" in the population of the khanate
of the "Golden Horde." I mentioned this, didn't I?
