Assuming that the parallel with the Sarasvati-Sindhu (IVC) seal(s)
is valid, I am presenting below a few examples of furnace types,
many from Santali, which explain some glyphs, using the rebus method
(similar sounding words explaining the glyphs as well as the
underlying substantive `message'). Of course, extensive linguistic
studies have to be done to determine the Pre-Indo-Aryan-Substrate
(PIAS) forms.
Since, among other reasons, all this would require that the language of the seals be an identifiable form of an Indic language, I hope you will excuse my skepticism. And since, apart from the background figures, most of the iconography on the cauldron has parallels in other Celtic art, I'll have to doubt this rebus system with regards to the cauldron. If nothing else, it would require some Indic-speaking Thracians who could explain the symbolism of the images to their patrons in order for there to be a point.
