I started my day as usual by reading the Washington Post. Besides
reports on the usual war threats, disasters, scandals, high level
incompetence, etc., there was a story on the Saraswati question. It's

Nothing new to us (unless anyone was naive enough to think we were
discussing a linguistic-archaeological question with no political
implications), but not a bad popular summary.
