I understand what you mean, but don't you have to prove first
that 'gji', in the meaning of 'gulf', is rather an ancient than a
modern term (taking in consideration what you have written about
anije-enë relationaship) ?

I don't have any difficulties to see 'gji' (bosom, breast) deriving
from 'to drip' because it is where the mothers milk drips from.
