the light of Piotr's preference for "former" over
"ancient") "how might contemporary OIT protagonists
react to this?" The question was preempted by Mr.
Kalyanamaran's post. The difference between "HIS
ancient dwelling-place" and "OUR former homeland"
seems quite important.*****
