But it's a straw-man tactic to suggest that IEists ignore non-laryngeal colouring. They don't, any many previous discussions on this list have been devoted precisely to that phenomenon. You have called it "my theory" or "my hypothesis", but if you were familiar with the literature you'd find out that the idea is nothing new.
