But I didn't state this at all. What makes a dragon a rain-related
dragon is the special sky symbolisms (claws, wings, etc). If
a "dragon" doesn't have these sky symbolisms, then it probably
has nothing to do with rain. However, any serpent 99 times out
of a hundred is related to water, ANY water, not just rain.
I've already stated how the serpent is a symbol of water waves.
Usually there is a core source of inspiration. Just like how
a language has a core ancestor.
