Hmmm, I will agree with you that this is the best and wise possibility
to take. Unfortunately I have a problem with the word "stacanã"= "mug"=
German "Krug"

And this word, this is to find in Slavic too. For example Russian
"stakan"

So, is this the "Balkan Latin" anymore? Or speaks it for an IE source? I
guess you will doubt now too about the Latin possibility even if seems
to be the nice one, don't you?
