And we may add a lot of suffixes:
French: Jeanot, Jeanet, Jeanin
Italian: Giovannini, Giovannelli, Giovannetti, Giannotti, Giannetti,
Giannecchi
English: Jenkins, Jenkinson
Czech: Janek

It can be seen a Romance suffix -ettus/-ittus, -ottus (Jeanot, Giannotti).
*Petro-ttus > Pierrot, Pietrotto
*Joanni-ttus / Joanne-ttus > Jeanet, Giannetto
