WARNING: the following informations have been not verifiyed by me
personaly.
"Ligur" appears in the etymologycal Dictionary of Latin language of
Alois Walde . This is in Vol. 1 , one has to search for "lingua"
In the etymological lexic of old Irish , Vendryes gives
for "language" the older form "tenga" undiphtonged comparative with
the actual "taenga" . For tongue= Zunge, Vendryes gives here too the
form "ligur".
