I'd guess Torsten was referring to the reconstruction *sáh2wal.,
gen.s. *sh2wéls, *sh2úls, *sh2wéns or *sh2úns, given at item 18 in
Miguel's account of PIE consonant stems at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cybalist/message/16501 . However,
Avestan hvar&, g.s. xv&:ng looks heteroclitic.
