Interesting. The Latin word is corvus, interpreted as *k[o]r-w-os in
IEW, but I suppose also analyzable as *kr.ghW-os. So perhaps another
possibility is *kroghWono- > Gmc. *hrab(a)na-, with non-Vernerian *ghW
~ *bh.
