interesting is the construction of the Hemus Mountains. Huma &
Hemus ..The Hemus is not a greek name and not a latin one..
but the name , if there is a connection between huma and hemus
let us think about.
In rom. lang. "humã" is supposed to come from bulgarian which
is excluded I think, because in proto-slavic there is no "h"
from *g^H .Latin loan cannot be too because the "h" in latin
was not pronounced. But the word comes from a langauge which
acted as latin giving a "h:m-" but, the "h" was pronounced, I
guess.
