here too, I should like to see where are the erroneus
informations and which entries are not in conformity with the
known informations:

-Plinius tell us about the ligurian beeing "antiqua stirps"
( plin lib III 21 1"(Colonia) Augusta Taruinom, antiqua
Ligurum stirpe"
-Hesiod tells us about the Liguri which dwelt in the
neighbourship of hypomologian Scythes (Hesiod Frag. CXXXII)
-Archbishoph Eustathius of Thessalonic in his comments about
the geography of Dionysius says there have been ligurians in
the land of Colchis. (Eustathius in Dionys. Perieg. v 76)
-Aristoteles speaks about a people on the theritory of old
thrace caled Ligyri.
(Macrobii Sat. I 18 "Nam Aristoteles scripisit ... etiam ...
apud Ligyreos .. in Thracia esse adytum Libero consecratum"
Herodotus speaks about emigrant ligurians from Cappadocia (
Herodotus lib. VII 72)

Tribes of Lyguri:
-in the west of Alps we find Deciates (Plinius lib III 7.1)
The roman form for this Deciates is Deciani , see Plinius in
lib III 5.5
"Regio Deciatium" , in the parts where today is Nice , the old
Nicaea.

-Montani (Plinius lib III 24.2 "Ligures ... qui Montani
vocantur"
-Stoeni ( CIL vol I Acta Triumphorum, pg.460 an 637:"De
Liguribus Stoeneis")
-Belaci(CIL vol V nr 7231)
-Comati or Capilati. for these two, The Emperor Nero gave them
the latin rights. (Plinius lib. III, 24.2)
After Strabo, the tribes of ligurians have had the beside
their ethnic names the general name of "romani" (Strabo lib v.
1.10)
-an another city of ligurians was Rama ( Itin. Hierosolym,
269)
-The greek geograph Metrodor Scepsius says that the river
Padus in the ligurian language was called (B)odincos , word
which in latin language meant " fundo carens" ( See Plinius
lib III 20.8"Ligurom quidem amnem ipsum (Padum) Bodincum
vocari, quod significet fundo carentem")
-At Plobus we find the form Bodencus
-here we find thes expresion I posted before with "coebanum
caseum". I will give now the whole sentence:
Plinius lib XI 97 1 " Coebanum (caseum) hic e Liguria mittit,
ovium maxime lactis". Strange that Plinius dont speak abotu
Ceba but about Liguria .
- an old city of Liguria was "Luna" (Frontini Stratag. III 21
"Lunam Ligurum Opidum")
-other two cities were called Alba and the old name for Alps
Mountains , say Strabo was Albia(Strabo lib IV 6 1)
- we find on their theritory a mont called Mancelus or
Manncelus (CIL vol V nr 7749)
The umbri.
-about the umbrii we get informations they have had emigrated
in Italia ( Plinius lib III 19 1:"Umbrorum gens antiquissima
Italiae existimatur)
-Ptolemeus speaks about a people in european Sarmatia called
"Ombrones" which have had their dweling places betwen Vistula
and Carpathians , better said Tatra Mountains (Ptolemeus lib
III 5 8)
-the hystorian Zenodot says the "Umbri" should have been the
old name of Sabins.(Dionysii Halic , lib II 49)
-about the Aborigeni we are informed they should have been
ligurian colonists (Dionysii Halic lib I 9-10)

here too, enough for now. The erroneus informations , how I
said, I should like to see them
