I know (and also know that the contours of
High Lithuanian dialects are close to what can be called a reverse Standard
Lithuanian in some cases), but
1. I can't see how that
saves Richard's theory.
2. some argue it's Standard Lithuanian
pitches that have retained an original state of affairs (references in the
evening).
