Depends on how seriously you take Plato's timing. Which I won't then,
since everyone else don't take him seriously at all. You'd then have
a Afro-Asiatic speaking trading island involved also in round-Africa
trade (Nusantao?) spewing Austronesian loan words to Afro-Asiatic and
Indo-European alike.
