Rather di- > gi-. There it's the first gi-, not the second -gi-/-ge-.
The second one turns /S/. (Perhaps in the same way as in Transylvanian
subdialects de/di > ghe/ghi (actually g^e/g^i; or, if gi /dZi/,
as in the Banat Rumanian subdialect, right, bãgitzã? :-)
