Cf. also Proto-Slavic *babrati 'splash etc.' ~ *bobrU (along with
*bebrU and *bIbrU [i-reduplication ?]) 'beaver' (*o: ~ *o ?; but
Serbo-Croatian _ba"brati_, pointing to acute, presents a problem).
