This *r. is based on Greek ára, ár, rá (Cypr. ér(a)) "therefore, so, that is to
say", â:ra (interr. particle, < ê ára) and Lithuanian ir^ "and, also" (< *r.),
ar^ "(interr. particle)" (< *or). No other cognates seem to exist.
