priest might well bear some relevance to the whole
issue of provenance and etymology, but wait and see
what Piotr says about the name. As for "voloh", in the
Slavic languages I am familiar with the pronunciation
is not "h" but "kh" (or "ch" as in Chutzpah).
"Volokhy" "Vlakhy" not "Volohy" as in Hildebrandt or
Holy or Hollow.********
