Sorry, my query was why does the word lead you to a Germanic

P.S. This probably had no connection, but just out of interest.

In Rajastan is an area called Marwar, and the people of that region
are caled Marwarii or marwaree.

Thus I wondered if in Viduvarii, we have could have two 'of's
i.e. ' 'ii' of ' Var' of' Vidu.- the people of ... ?
