Dear Piotr,

Thank you for your affirmation on tolerance. It is ecouraging to know that my occasional postings on swords requesting inscription translation, a bit off the thread of linguistics have been treated kindly with serious scholarship.

Good manners are required and as long as their viewpoints within postings are provided with politeness there will be no need to do background checks on those who wish to contribute. You can always bar those who stoop to abusive language, insults and racism from this forum when necessary.

Not everyone is pleased to remember their political beliefs from their youth and those who have outrageous viewpoints in their early days may often mature to be wholesome human beings.
