Just a simple question: How does the hi-conjugation
represent the "stative"? Are all hi-verbs statives?? It
sounds like we are assuming that the mi-conjugation is
active while the hi-conjugation is stative. Why?

It was just a diagram to show the evolution of the system
from active-stative to the durative-aorist-perfect of
"traditional" (as you put it) IE. If you can alter the
diagram in a better way, please do so.
