Zugon and Yoga

In "The Finitude of Being" by Joan Stambaugh (Albany, NY: SUNY
Press, 1992: 144), I came across the following passage:
"With his concept of zugon (yoke) Plato focussed on aletheia
as the brightness and light in which beings are seen and perceived by
a perceiver (noein). Brightness, or the light, is what yokes beings
and perception."
Is there any study comparing Plato's concept of zugon with
Patanjali's yoga?
