You will find many discussions of the issue on this list if you
search the list for Tyrrhenian (the group to which he assigns
Etruscan and a few other fragmentary languages) or Indo-Tyrrhenian
(Indo-European plus Tyrrhenian). I think the discussion properly
belongs to the Nostratic list
