Interesting. That would play right into my hands. That's
exactly when I think the Basque language moved into Europe.
(I also think that Basque has a remote relationship to
Nakh-Daghestinian and Hurro-Urartian.)

Etruscan cannot possibly be indigenous when we have the
existence of the related Lemnian language to contend with.
Etruscan and Rhaetic would appear to derive ultimately
from the Eastern Mediterranean area. I don't see a more
plausible theory to account for these languages.
