Dear Piotr & Friends,

    My greatest thanks for your intellectual efforts.

    I have passed on all of the emails on the Hungarian sword inscription to Jose Torres.  He has been most impressed by the scholarship and enthusiasm exhibited by the group.

    I realize that sword inscriptions can be tricky because they often use abbreviations for long words and the inscriber might not be literate in the language he is inscribing. 

Your finding of a similar weapon was a superb example of research.
