Dear Piotr,

I was not speaking of a potential connection between the word "armâni"
and the today country (or region) Armenia. The potential connection may
be with one of the three old tribes that, as one theory says, were the
forefathers of the Armenian people. That theory says that one of those
tribes migrated two or three millennia ago from the low Danube region to
what is today Armenia. That theory tries to make some sense out of
several similar toponyms in Armenia and Romania. Here are a couple of
examples: Arefu and Hat,eg. Anyway, it is really very interesting that
the Armenians call themselves "Hai" while everybody else calls them
Armenians. It seems similar with the Magyars. Everybody else calls them
Hungarians.

P.S. Does anybody know an Internet "Armân" to English dictionary? Or a
printed one?
