Is the request stupid or the earlier statement in Message Number
13086 stupid?

I have read a book called, 'Encyclopaedia of Ignorance'. PIE also
should have a chapter on areas which are still dark in such a book. I
would like to know from the sarva prajn~a-s [trans. 'all knowing, who
can unravel the roots of agricultural terms in Vedic'] what is the
import of this quote from 13086? I have heard about 'substratum' to
explain the unknown.

Extract from message number 13086: [quote] One of the tenets of this
theory is that the disconnect between Vedic and IE means that pure
Vedic is not a pure IE language. It has many roots and morphologies
that are unique to it and that it does not share with IE. Many of
these are shared with Munda and Dravidian but they are mostly loans
FROM Vedic. Vedic *is*
Masica's "Language X."[unquote]
