One PIE word for "wheel" was [kwkwlos], whic I suspect started as
onomatopoeia for the noise that a cartwheel (without modern-type
rubber tyres and bearings) makes.

Unless a word like "youe" cn be found in other PIE lamguages, is it a
substratum word taken from Saamic / Lappish?
