All right, I suppose it will be fair enough if I give Carlos Padilla a couple of days -- say, till Monday evening GMT -- to explain himself to the list or to be unsubscribed.

Some time ago I received an e-mail ostensibly from Carlos Padilla
which contained a virus which was stopped by the PC's anti-virus
program. It had the headline "Re: lead and mercury". If this is
deliberate, whoever does it has some knowledge of the list and the
preferences of some of its members. I replied the mail with the
comment that I couldn't read it since it seemed to contain a virus. I
haven't received an answer.
