I suggest you look at bibles in all the various languages. Some are
online. You need to look at both Protestant and Catholic versions
(e.g., Naomi vs. Noemi). This will give you the 'citation form' for
quite a few names. I suspect someone has already done this work before
you, but finding it may be difficult, and it might not be online.

As Piotr has intimated, some of the most popular names have undergone
tremendous development in each language, with former
diminutives/nicknames emerging as full names. For example, Gretchen,
particularly in English, is wholly independent from Margaret.

You might set up yahoo group for this one -- You might do it as a
'baby name' list. I for one would join in.
