Well, that was my "second thoughts" interpretation, assuming that the noun to be guessed was <vis> or the like. <Vis unita fortior> (like <Unitate fortior>) is a fairly common motto, adopted e.g. by the city of Stoke-on-Trent and the state of New Hampshire. I doubt if the intended noun could be e.g. <sodalitas>. That would be too hard to guess :)
