Yeah, I know that group. Mark "Seghopritus Etignotos" DeFillo is or used to be a subscriber to this list, and it must be said for him that he obeyed netiquette, asked sensible questions (whatever he did with the answers) and did not force anyone into acts of submission. The Aryoveghya claim to be unaggressive, so I have no idea how they can ever get them any dosoi, unless some masochists come along to volunteer.

Subject: Re: [tied] Kooky sites collection (David Frawley's Role-Playing Club)

Add this one to your lists of kooky sites:
http://communities.msn.com/TheNoblePath/_whatsnew.msnw .

This group, the "Arioweghya", claims to follow a reconstructed
pre-Christian Indo-European religion and to use reconstructed
Proto-Indo-European language, or "Somskwertos" as they call
it, as their "official and sacred language".  Their reconstructed
P.I.E. is for the most part nothing more than Sanskrit with the a's
replaced with e's and o's, or as they put it "Our Somskwertos
is not identical to the reconstructions favored by the academics
of the modern "Western" culture".   See their glossary at
http://communities.msn.com/TheNoblePath/glossary.msnw
They call their religion "Senoteno dhermn" based on the relatively
recently coined term for Hinduism "Sanatana Dharma".

The founder, Seghopritus Etignotos a.k.a. Belenios Ategnatos
a.k.a. Sigefrith Esanthegn a.k.a. Mark DeFillo, calls himself a
"Bhlagmen" and a "Druuid" and they have various other ranks
such as "Rseyes" (Rshis), "Sedhewes" (Sadhus), Warriors and
most amusing of all "Dosoi" or Slaves.  Not suprisingly at
http://communities.msn.com/TheNoblePath/announcements.msnw
we find out that one of their Rseyes is one Uirogalios who is none
other than Vamadeva Shastri a.k.a. David Frawley whose writings
may be familiar to some on the list.  For a good laugh go to the
message board at the site and look under "IE Morality" or better
yet under "Dosetuos" for their rules on handling their slaves.
Here are some choice excerpts:

"It is an inescapable fact that our culture includes keeping both
four-footed and two-footed livestock. The two-footed livestock are
called "dosoi" or "doseloi" in Somskwertos. In Aballonas of today,
we have provision for this institution."

"Dosoi have no rights. The act of submission is equivalent to
full and irrevocable (unless the chattel be manumitted) "blanket"
unconditional sexual consent, and consent to all other conditions
of dosetuos. The dosos is subject to corporal punishment at
the will of the owner and is always required to obey. The only
conditions binding the owner are any relating to compassionate
treatment of any animals. A dosos is livestock, a chattel, an
animal, perhaps a pet.  The wistetikos laws do not recognize
slavery, and would regard actions performed on a dosos who
did withhold consent as criminal. Therefore, if a dosos were to
say "no" or otherwise rebel, they are not to be forced, and must
be released on request, but they are thereby summarily subject
to outlawry and "shunning"."

"Basic dosikos etiquette requires all dosoi who are not either
exempt or engaged in work that prevents its to render appropriate
obeisances to free people as follows: kneel in the presence of
kaptioi, and wistetoi who are guests of free people; kneel with
bowed head in the presence of any free person; kneeling with
head to the floor (obeisance) in the presence of the owner or very
high ranking free people. Prostrate (lying face down on the ground)
obeisances may also be rendered to the owner and high nobles.
Prostrations should also especially be rendered to renunciates
and other people of the highest ranks. The dosos may also
spontaneously offer humbler obeisances, as for example to
express fear, placation, gratitude, devotion, etc. If any person
of any rank higher than dosetuos is kneeling or giving obeisances,
dosoi must render a humbler obeisance."

Hmmm... kinky!  Although at present they don't yet actually
have any slaves so no need to rush to sign up.
