Yes, very interesting! Given this Adon and Odin's by-name AuDun,
perhaps there is common name behind and then it is Wodan/Odin's
connection to anger (*wot/*wet-/*ut?, regularized differently in
North and West Germanic) that is a (n ancient) folk etymology?
