Returning to the Late Bronze Age Apollo-Apollon; Appaliuna:
I think I tracked down one of the alternative names for the
Tyrrhenian moon goddess Lusan, Leukothea.
It appears Leuko-thea, is not Tyrrhenian, but what else Ionic, leuko
(light, bright, pale gold, silver) and thea (to see, spectacle). Tana
another name for Lusna appears to be from the Hellenic, Tanaos,
meaning outstretched. This could be a reference to a full moon, just
as the sources say Tana is the full moon aspect of Lusan.
Also Aplu, Apulu, and Aplun is the name of the Tyrrhenian Storm God.
I can't find a reference to Apulu as a Hurrian god or a Hurrian word.
It seems that Apulu-Aplun and Apollon are derived from Appaliuna.
