That's true. A careful reconstruction od the relevant Proto-Dravidian
forms would be helpful, but that's beyond my competence. BTW, a minor
self-correction (not affecting the discussion of Indic): the PIE root
is *h3nogWH- rather than *h3nogH- (initial *h1 also possible, IMO).
