Caere/Caisra, Tarquinia/Tarchna and Vulci/Velch, as well as
Vetulonia/Vetluna to the north, were built several kilometers inland,
for strategic reasons which is very similar to the placement of Troy
and Mycenae. However, respective harbor towns appear to have
developed.

Pyrgi-Caere/Caisra, Gravisca-Tarquinia/Tarchna, and Telamon-
Vulci/Velch.

These are the three earlier Tyrrhenian towns/cities. We know that
Caere/Caisra was Pelasgian, Tarquinia/Tarchna was Tyrasian, and not
sure what Vulci/Velch was. Vetulonia/vetluna I think was founded by
Corsi?
