Damn, I can only remember Revelations 16... something about
"Armageddon... yadayadayada". <yawn>. Of course, there's no rocket
science to doomsday prophecies and it's wonderful as an effective
means of social control. The biblical apocalypse story springs
ultimately from Eastern Mediterranean neolithic mythologies
concerning the change of the seasons... next!
As for Dumezil and Nostradamus, I wasn't aware of the connection.
