As an American -- and more
importantly as a human being -- I owe you all thanks for thinking of us in light
of the infernal events that have taken place in New York and Washington.
In response to this evil, good has come out. The world has responded with
sympathy and outrage, even our "enemies". A great city is working together
to save and heal in a way I have never seen, and I'm watching it all from Texas,
far away.
I only hope we declare war
not on Islam or Palestinians or Arabs as a whole, but on the evil
individuals who perpetrated this act and those who assist them.
