Mallory wouldn't, because he favours another theory, which puts the IE
homeland in the Pontic-Caspian steppe. However, the Funnel (Neck)
Beaker culture is mentioned several times in the book (see the index
under TRB = TRichterBecher culture) as a possible homeland in other
scholars' views, as connected with horses and wheeled transport, etc.
