I hate to see things like that! I hope you're right and soon we can enjoy a standard transliteration system for this languages. You would have lots of fun also seeing things like "T�quio" for "T�ky�", in spite of the existence of an international convention for that! In Catalan there's that stupid tendence imitating French.
Oh! Basques probably use Txaikovski (letters q, v, w, c, etc. are accepted in foreign words and names).
