*ANY* claims to decipherment of the Indus Civilization script have to
be regarded with great scepticism. Along with Linear A and the
Phaistos disk, many claims for 'decipherment' have been made, and all
have been shown to be utterly false. The Ventris wannabes turn out to
be mainly self-deluded.
The usual bet is that if it's ever deciphered, it will be show to be
encoding a Dravidian language. It could just as well, however, encode
something related to Burushaski (a language isolate).
